This two-day training program will achieve the following outcomes for Managers and Supervisors:

  • Understand the Post COVID 19 regulatory environment and its impact on business
  • Understand the impact that COVID-19 has on leadership styles and levels of team emotional maturity
  • How to utilise practical communication skills that centre on empathy, approachability, and a willingness to listen that create a safe place for Non-Prejudicial conversations
  • Be able to introduce the concept of ‘mental health champions’
  • Be able to Identify skill gaps that improve the relationship between skills, stress, and anxiety
  • How to help team members deal better with confronting situations and people
  • How to identify if a mental health problem exists
  • How to develop a collaborative mind set within your team to finding solutions for mental health risks in the workplace
  • Define the steps to isolating the cause and implementing the remedial actions required to reduce or eliminate the existing risks to mental health
  • How best to support the team member when additional professional support is required
  • Develop a workplace implementation plan
  • Set up a post ‘intervention’ review process to provide ongoing support via a coaching process
  • Understand the principles of the team and individual engagement process
  • How to create a safe environment where discussing mental health issues is not seen as a failure
